Mercury Delivers for the Bedfordshire 2026 MCF Festival
Just over 43 hours after leaving the United Grand Lodge, home of English Freemasonry, in Great Queen Street, Richard Reynolds, the 100 Mile Mason, successfully completed his epic run this morning, raising well over £2000 for the Bedfordshire 2026 Festival.
Leaving on Wednesday afternoon, He ran 101 miles, from central London, through Middlesex and Hertfordshire, into Bedfordshire to The Keep, stopping off at eight Masonic Centres on route.
Being current Master of Mercury Lodge No 7289 it was fitting that on arrival at the home of Bedfordshire Freemasonry, Richard delivered a message from Jonathan Spence, the Leader of English Freemasonry, to Nick Edwards the Head of Bedfordshire’s Masons, which can be read below.
This really was a monumental effort. Richard did the most leg work, but was supported by a fantastic crew who watched out for him along the way, some who ran parts of it with him, others made sure that refreshments and sustenance was available and that the Bedfordshire Centres were open when he came through.
Great Work “100 Mile Mason” and Team!
