Lovells Bury no. 4018 – a memorable evening !

A packed meeting, boosted by a large number of visitors, was presided over by the Lodge Master Ivan Dix who conducted his last ceremony of his year with warmth, care and, most importantly, a smile.

All under the watchful eyes of our own Provincial Grand Master, Nick Edwards , plus those of Hertfordshire, Neil Connolly, and from Northamptonshire & Huntingdonshire Mark Constant.

This was reported as a “super meeting” – with the work shared between brethren, keeping it fresh and interesting for both the candidate and those watching on. The candidate, James Fuller, thoroughly enjoyed his ceremony of being passed to the 2nd degree.

To top it all off, Bob Curson, Chairman of the Bedfordshire Freemasons 2026 Festival Committee, was also there to present the lodge with its “Gold” status award to mark the level of their contributions of almost some £31,000 to the Festival.
