Bro Robert Gordon Jappy
Dear Brethren,
It with great sadness I must inform you of the passing to the Grand lodge above of Brother Robert Gordon Jappy on Friday 11th August 2023 (aged 68).
Robert was initiated into Gilbert Inglefield Lodge L8009 on 6th December 1983, and was the elder brother to Worshipful Brothers John and Brian Jappy. Robert moved to the Northeast many years ago but maintained his membership in the lodge for nearly 40 years, visiting when he could.
Brother Robert had been suffering with a serious back condition for some time and after a recent fall had to be admitted into hospital where he unfortunately deteriorated and sadly passed away peacefully with John, Brian, and family members by his bedside.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family, Worshipful Brothers John and Brian Jappy at this sad time.
