Cars, Bikes, Buses & Bears at the Flitwick Show
Members of the Ampthill Centre Lodges, along with some of the BEDA team, enjoyed a very pleasant day at the annual Flitwick Car, Bike & Bus Show on Sunday 20th August.
The BEDA Brothers displayed their love of Motorbikes, presenting an array of gleaming bikes, old, new and some bespoke.
The star of the show was a Scott Squirrel, nearly 100 years old and the bike that Ellis Billington rode to Ampthill when he first went to view the then derelict Old Court House in Church Street which is now the Ampthill Masonic Centre.
Away from the bikes and cars, the Ampthill members enjoyed chatting with everyone about the good works of Freemasonry, particularly our TLC bears that bring so much comfort across the area.
Lots of Brothers from around and outside the Province stopped to say hello and there was also a surprise visit from the Provincial Grand Master.
Everyone agreed, it had been a really good day!
