Beds, Herts & Bucks Team Up and Clean Up
On August 10th over 35 members of the Gables Hall Masonic family attended the summer working day to get through a 40-line worklist followed by well-deserved Beer & Sausages. A great, but very tiring, day was had by all.
Gables Hall at Linslade, is home to nine Craft Lodges from three different Provinces, Five from Beds, Two each from Herts & Bucks. Each Lodge has two representatives on the Gables Hall Management Committee who manage the day to day running of the centre on behalf of the Trustees. The Committee organises several Working Partys throughout the year.
David Cato, Chairman of the Gables Hall Management Committee, commented: “One of the great strengths of the Gables Hall is its Management Committee, with representatives from all of our Lodges. The spirit and unity of purpose of the members means that we get a great deal done by volunteers to maintain our wonderful centre. The cost savings enable us to keep our fees down, which helps our Lodges to keep their Subscriptions down”
