Bedfordshire Freemasons Armed Forces Covenant
The Province of Bedfordshire Freemasons, as a signatory to, and supporter of, the Armed Forces Covenant received and accepted an invitation to the recent Armed Forces Covenant Employers Breakfast held on Thursday 27th February 2025 at Shuttleworth House.
The event was hosted by the His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Susan Lousada.
Focusing particularly on the Cadet Forces many inspiring stories were told highlighting the benefits for young people and asking employers to be sympathetic to Adult Leaders Working Times.
A further highlight of the morning was the Lord Lieutenant presenting various awards to Companies and Organizations, in recognition of the employment opportunities afforded to Armed Forces veterans by them, amongst those was Bedfordshire Freemason James Lees, who is the Managing Director of an electronics manufacturing company, seen receiving the Gold Award.
