Worshipful Brother David Kitchener

Dear Brethren,

It is my sad duty to inform you of the passing to the Grand lodge above of Worshipful Brother and Excellent Companion David Edward Kitchener on the 5th of September 2024 (93)

David was initiated on the 27th of April 1978 in Lodge of St Mary L3654, Master in 1993 & 2007. In 1990 David became a founder member of Guy Marsden Halsey Lodge L9369 (Herts) and was Master in 1995 & 2009. In 1996 W. Bro David joined Bedfordshire Lodge of Provincial Grand Stewards L9577, becoming Master in 2008. In 2013 he was elected an Honorary Member (NS) of Cumberland Lodge L3858.

Brother David was exalted into St Mary Chapter C3654 on the 12th of January 1990, installed as MEZ 2000 & 2007.

First Provincial honour came in 1995 when W. Bro David was appointed PPrGStwd and in 1998 PPrSGD, 2003 PPrAGReg (Herts), PPrGSwdB 2004, 2009 PPrGReg, PPrGSuptWks (Herts) 2011, 2015 PPrJGW, 2018 PPrGReg and in 2022 PPrSGW

Bro David thoroughly enjoyed his freemasonry. He was a very dedicated Mason serving two provinces for 46 years in Craft and 34 years Royal Arch Chapter.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Evelyn and family at this very sad time. I shall of course send a condolences card on behalf of you, the Provincial Executive and Brethren.
