W Bro Christopher Martin Smith
It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing to the Grand Lodge Above of Worshipful Brother and Excellent Companion Christopher Martin Smith – PAGDC, on Saturday 22nd May 2021. Chris was suffering from cancer and had been in Bedford Hospital. His family moved him to St John’s Hospice, Moggerhanger for his last night.
Sadly Chris’s wife Sheila passed away in September 2020. Chris is survived by his daughter Joanne, her husband and three Grand Children.
Chris was Past Provincial Grand Master of the Mark Province of Bedfordshire. He was also a member of numerous other orders both in Bedfordshire and in Northants and Huntingdonshire.
I will be sending a card of condolence as is usual on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master and the Brethren of the Province.
