The Bedfordshire Lodge of St John the Baptist no 475 – a “special” meeting
A most special and memorable meeting was enjoyed by all those attending the The Bedfordshire Lodge of St John the Baptist December meeting, some 40 in number.
The initiation of Paul Conquest proved just so with the Leader of Bedfordshire Freemasons, Nick Edwards, taking the most important role of guiding and conducting Paul as he took his “first regular steps in Freemasonry”.
This role being undertaken by a Leader of Bedfordshire Freemasons was something no one attending could recall occurring before in the Lodges long history, nor in more recent years in the Province.
The meeting was presided over by the Master of the Lodge, Bob Clarke, in his own inimitable style!
A Lodge meeting of seriousness and “fun”, with Nick Edwards commenting that a special bond of “masonic friendship” would now ever exist between himself and Paul, as seen in the above photograph.
And below a Great Welcome to Paul from Bedfordshire Freemasons and the Visiting Light Blues, after which all duly retired to the Festive Board.
