Record Numbers attend Free PSA Testing – Luton
Bedfordshire Freemasons held another successful PSA testing event on Saturday, 24 October, at The Pavilion, Luton Masonic Centre, with 246 men completing their tests.
Of the 246 results, 193 were green, 22 amber and 29 red, with two results pending. A total of 274 appointments were booked.
The event also offered blood pressure checks and general wellbeing assessments from the local NHS Group, Irish Forum, alongside lifesaving CPR demonstrations and instruction from Magpas Air Ambulance.

PSA Testing Co-ordinator Ken Evans thanked the management and staff at The Pavilion, members of Bedfordshire Lodge of Provincial Grand Stewards No. 9577, other lodge members, the Provincial Executive and all the volunteers who helped make the day a success despite the challenging weather.

Anyone receiving an amber or red result should contact their GP promptly and follow the guidance provided with their report. Support is available through the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust (GFCT) helpline.
The event highlights Bedfordshire Freemasons’ continued commitment to men’s health, early detection and community wellbeing.
