Ladies Festival from the Front Room

A report from Michael Hillson on the Manor Court Lodge Ladies Festival;

Wow, What an amazing and uplifting evening, it gave us the chance to forget the lock down and once again enjoy each others company.

This was our 37th Manor Court Lodge Ladies Festival, and these social events have provided the opportunity for our families to meet, and over time form great friendships, and this was very evident last night. These friendships built over many years have helped to form the backbone of our Lodge leading to our Lodge being one of the most successful in the Province.

On behalf of our WM John and wife Ruth, I send our sincere thanks to the PGM Tony and his wife Sandra for once again attending our Ladies Festival, it was lovely to see you both. I also include W. Bro Craig and his wife Tracy for hosting and facilitating the event, Craig has agreed to host all future MCL video events and will over the next few days assist members to get connected for our future events. Thanks to Bro Duncan for allowing us to use his Zoom account, it allowed our event to zoom past the 40 minute time limit for non account conferences.

In every crisis there are always some positives and to have our Founder Member W Bro Ron Baxter and his wife Florence attending our Ladies Festival was awesome, Ron & Florence, it was a very great pleasure for us all to be with you last night, you both looked wonderful. (Ron, we wish you fab washes !!)

Linda and I found the experience extremely uplifting, giving us both the feel good factor, together with lots of laughter, we began to feel reconnected.
