“One of many things that UGLE is good at is celebrating important milestones as those who participated in the Tercentenary celebrations in 2017 will be aware. In 2023 we have another very significant event to acknowledge and enjoy, as it was in 1723 that the then ‘Grand Lodge of London and Westminster’, published what are sometimes referred to as “Anderson’s Constitutions”. This document gave the world the “Ancient Charges”, and a set of organisational principles and rules about how a Lodge – and by extension, any secular society or group of individuals – should conduct itself”. – MW Bro Peter Lowndes, PProGM
2023 is, therefore, a most important anniversary and the celebrations will begin with an Especial Meeting of Grand Lodge to be held on Tuesday, 31st January 2023,
This event will be open to masons of all ranks and the ProGM is extremely keen that there will be a large swathe of light blue in the Grand Temple.
The meeting is followed by lunch in the Grand Connaught Rooms (for which there is a charge of £68). However, in this Province we normally dine separately in another venue. Details of which will follow.
The event is to be a TICKET ONLY occasion. The Province of Bedfordshirehas been allocated 11 Tickets for the event. The Provincial Grand Master has decided that the tickets will be allocated by way of a ballot.
If you wish to be entered into the ballot for this event please respond by FRIDAY 11th NOVEMBER 2022, using the following email address, firstname.lastname@example.org
