Celebrating Sixty Successful Years, W Bro John Scott
Last Week, Clive Walsh, the deputy leader of Bedfordshire Freemasons, was delighted to present John Scott with a certificate recognising his 60 years’ service to Freemasonry.
John was Initiated into Beacon Lodge No 6202, Penrith, in 1964. He became a joining member of St Andrews Lodge, Biggleswade, in 1972, having moved to Bedfordshire through his work.
He was Master of the Lodge in 1986, Secretary in 1992 and Charity Steward in 1998. He is also a member of St Andrews Chapter. He has received numerous Provincial honours over the years, including Past Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 2016.
Clive, along with the St Andrews Lodge members accompanying him, was pleased to be able to spend some time sharing in masonic memories before presenting John’s wife, Pat, with a bouquet of flowers.
