Bro Andrew Faichney Smart

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing to the Grand Lodge Above of Brother and Companion Andrew Faichney Smart, born 12/3/25, 95 years old.

He was a member of Biscot Lodge No 8801, Thistle & Rose Lodge of Bedfordshire No 9351 and Biscot Chapter N0 8801. He was initiated into Freemasonry on 19/4/1949 so had enjoyed 71 years of membership.

His passing was not COVID-19 related. He fell asleep after his breakfast yesterday and peacefully passed away.

He leaves behind a son and a long time companion. I will be sending a card of condolence to them both on behalf of the PGM, Executive & Brethren of the Province.
