BEDA Deliver Christmas Cheer and Chocolates
Christmas is fast approaching and once again our Province and the BEDA Chapter of the Widow’s Sons have teamed up to deliver some Christmas cheer.
On Thursday last week, Martin Wilson and Steve Joyce supported by a contingent of BEDA Bikers visited Bedford A & E and then the Luton and Dunstable Hospital Charity House, with a supply of Christmas chocolates and TLC Teddy Bears.
The group then travelled on to Keech Hospice in Luton where the BEDA Boys & Girls presented their own gift of two crates of TLC Teddies to the Children’s Department at the Hospice.
All three visits were greatly appreciated by the Hospital and Hospice Staff.
Sarah Goodale at Bedford Hospital said:
“Once again, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Bedfordshire Masons and Bikers for bringing Santa to Bedford Hospital. Your generosity makes a massive difference to our young paediatric patients, brightening their experience in the department. It’s wonderful to see the smiles on their faces when they leave with a cute teddy and some chocolates during the Christmas season.
Your kindness and thoughtfulness never go unnoticed and are greatly appreciated by both our patients and staff.
On behalf of the Bedford Hospital Paediatric and ED departments, we wish you and everyone in the team a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year”.
