A Memorable Meeting for Stuart Lodge no. 540

A  Double Celebration marked the recent meeting of Stuart Lodge.

Not only a 50th year Certificate presentation but also the welcoming of a new initiate, so a busy evening for all.

It was some 50 years to the day that John Stringer began his masonic journey, and despite John trying to keep a “low profile” the  anniversary was certainly not forgotten.

Stephen Attwood, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master of Bedfordshire, supported by a Provincial Escort, made a visit to the lodge, and was honoured to present John with his 50th year Certificate.

The meeting also witnessed the initiation of the Lodge’s newest member Jeff Williams, who was warmly welcomed by all attending.
