All Saints.no. 8776 – Installation and a 60 year Certificate!

The Bedfordshire Lodge, All Saints No. 8776, Leighton Buzzard, was pleased to welcome John Morrow, Provincial Senior Grand Warden, representing the Provincial Grand Master, Nick Edwards, at the Installation of Paul Tofield as Master.

A truly special highlight of the evening saw John present a 60-year certificate to Norman Kitchen. Initiated into Albert Edward Lodge No. 1780 (Hampshire & Isle of Wight) in 1966 while on leave from the Merchant Navy, Norman’s remarkable journey in Freemasonry began when his uncle proposed him at a meeting in Southampton.

Norman joined All Saints Lodge in 1981, going on to hold a number of key offices, and later receiving Provincial Honours in 2007 and 2013. During the presentation, John reflected on 1966 and shared insights into Norman’s life both in and beyond Freemasonry, prompting warm and spontaneous acclamation from the all.
