Supreme Grand Chapter – Investitures

The Supreme Grand Chapter Investiture held on Thursday 30th April 2026 was, as ever, a resplendent and memorable occasion.

For Bedfordshire Companions accompanying the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, Nick Edwards, the highlights of the day was the well-deserved promotion of Barrie House, the Provincial Deputy Grand Superintendent, to Past Grand Sword Bearer, along with Chris Wells, the Provincial Director of Ceremonies, appointed to Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, recognising their enthusiasm, support and commitment to the Royal Arch.

Likewise for Stephen Kirby, a member of  Someries Lodge No 5202, via the Province of Buckinghamshire, being appointment to Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies.

The post-investiture luncheon was very well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by all present, providing a fitting conclusion to a superb day.
