£60,000 Grant to the Encephalitis Society
The MCF’s £60,000 grant to The Encephalitis Society is helping young people living with the illness to access the help and support they need.
Encephalitis affects around 6,000 people in the UK each year, and survivors may be left facing a lifetime of disabilities and challenges due to brain injury. This grant will help young people access the Encephalitis Society’s support services, and help to provide face-to-face events where they can meet and share experiences, as well as residential weekends.
