50 Years, a Gold Award and a Raising

The meeting of Gilbert Ingefield Lodge earlier this week was a triple celebration. Ian Walker received a certificate marking his fifty years in Freemasonry. Bro Ian’s long and distinguished career included his time as Bedfordshire’s Grand Director of Ceremonies, and he is still enjoying his Freemasonry today, and himself presented a Grand Lodge certificate on the night.

The Lodge also received its 2026 Festival Gold award, but not satisfied with this have pledged a further £1,500 from their charity fund, and have stated their determination to achieve the Platinum Award.

Finally, Bro Calvin was raised to Master Mason in fine style by the members of the Lodge – all in all a great night out!
