Worshipful Brother David Christopher Clem Handley
Dear Brethren,
You may already have heard the sad news that our Provincial Grand Membership Officer W. Bro Chris Handley’s father, Worshipful Brother and Companion David Christopher Clem Handley PPrGStB passed to the Grand Lodge above on 21st of November 2024, aged 79.
David was initiated on the 17th of March 2001 into the John Bunyan Lodge L5973, becoming Master in 2011.
David was exalted into Kynaston Chapter C5810 (Cambs.) on the 22nd of September 2008.
David’s health had declined of late and due to difficulties with mobility was not able to attend recent meetings as he wanted to. Sadly, and unexpectedly, David passed away peacefully in his sleep.
David served the Province for 23 years in the Craft and 16 years in Royal Arch Chapter.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Jennifer and his son Chris and their families at this very sad time. I shall be sending a condolence card on behalf of the Brethren of Bedfordshire.
