Mental ill-health during pregnancy or after the birth of a child can affect up to 20 per cent of parents.
Thankfully, perinatal mental health charity Bluebell Care provides group therapy, one-to-one peer support, befriending, and sleep consultations, as well as a drop-in hub where parents can access advice and information.
The MCF’s £13,800 grant is helping the charity to continue its vital work amid a rise in referrals due to increased anxiety around lockdown.
