Worshipful Brother Colin Frederick Gardner

Dear Brethren,

It is with sadness that I inform you of the sad passing to the Grand Lodge above of Worshipful Brother and E Comp Colin Frederick Gardner PPrGReg on 24th of April 2025 (80).

Colin was initiated on the 14th of April 1982 in Beaudesert lodge L1087, installed as Master in 1991, 2004 and 2011. Assistant Director of Ceremonies 2018 – 2021 and Chaplain 2022 – 2025

In 2015 W. Bro Colin joined Codicote Lodge L9129 (Herts)

Bro Colin was Exalted in Beaudesert Chapter C1087 on the 23rd of October 1985, installed as Most Excellent Zerubbabel in 1994.

Provincial ranks first came in 1997 PPrJGD, in 2004 PPrGSuptWks, PPrGSwdB 2009 and PPrGReg in 2015. W. Bro Colin serviced the Province for 43 years in the Craft and Royal Arch Chapter 39 years.

W Bro Colin still attended meetings travelling from Stevenage to Leighton Buzzard up until the end of 2024, but sadly his health deteriorated and he lost his brave fight against cancer and passed peacefully.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his son Steve and the family at this very sad time. I will be sending a card of condolences to the family on behalf the Province.
