The Sun Shines on Harlington, Eventually!
On Friday 1st September, twenty-two Brethren & Guests, attended the annual Harlington Lodge golf day at The Colmworth Golfclub, organised by W.Bro Chris Webb.
After a rather damp start to the day, the weather improved and so did the golf with four of the competitors scoring forty-plus points.
Everyone enjoyed the day, with Vernon Carrington of Elstow Lodge hitting the longest drive, John Aitchinson stroked the ball to within five feet to take the prize for nearest the pin, whilst Andy Sim of Pilgrim Lodge scored an impressive 42 points to win the main competition.
As ever, the main winner was charity with the event raising £300 for the 2026 Festival.
