Ted Wootton 60 Years

Ted Wootton of Russell Lodge has recently celebrated a remarkable 60 years in Freemasonry.

In recognition of this exceptional milestone, Ted was presented with a commemorative certificate and a unique lapel pin by the Past Provincial Grand Master of Bedfordshire Tony Henderson.

A particularly fitting highlight of the occasion was the reflection that one of the candidates Ted himself initiated later went on to become a Provincial Grand Master—a true testament to his lasting legacy in the Craft.

The celebrations continued at the Festive Board, where  Ted was honoured once again. His son, James, the current Master, presented him with a beautifully crafted silver salver, engraved with the original Russell Lodge crest. This gesture marked a moment of deep personal pride and Masonic significance.

A truly memorable celebration of dedication, service, and family at the heart of Freemasonry.
