Pennies and Poems for The Earl of Courtown.

The Earl of Courtown Lodge regular meeting this month proved to be a very informative and educational evening.

Bill Axe, a member of the John Hindle Lodge, No. 9432, attended and gave a talk about Victorian coinage. He bought along many examples from his extensive collection for the Brethren to enjoy and speculate about their worth.

Prior to that, Ian Church, the Assistant Provincial Secretary, presented his highly recomended lecture on the Life and Works of Rudyard Kipling, with the Lodge members participating by reading Kipling’s poems.

A great meeting was had by all!
