MTSFC Year Ends on a High.
Tuesday 19th September brought to a close another successful year for the Bedfordshire Branch of the MTSFC when the fishermen enjoyed the company of 16 young people with special educational needs from The Chiltern School in Houghton Regis.
This was the teams fourth event of the year and as usual was a great success. Thankfully, apart from it being a little bit blustery the weather was very kind with the expected rain not turning up. The fish were biting well, providing a great morning of fishing, after-which everyone tucked in to a hearty lunch prepared by Richard Frood and the team of Ladies who provide so much support.
Before heading home all the young people were presented with a certificate marking their achievement.
After the presentations, the Provincial Grand Master thanked the organising team, Chairman-Dick Sturman, Secretary-Richard Frood, Roy Smith & Chris Goll, for their continued hard work that provides so much pleasure, reminding us all, that there is much more to Masonry than “Meetings and Meals”.
