The David Kenneth Williamson Cup (actually lighter replica made especially for this event) left Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden today on the first leg of it’s over 2,000 mile tour around every Universities Scheme Lodge in England and Wales. The cup will be back in London on the 8th September for the Quarterly Communications meeting of Grand Lodge.
The cup will be passing through Bedfordshire on the 23rd, 24th and 25th August, and details of how Bedfordshire Freemasons can take part, either physically or financially, will be circulated shortly. The walk will be raising money for the Duke of Edinburgh Fund, and whilst in Bedfordshire, for our own 2026 Festival.
We wish all the walkers well in this epic adventure!
