Castle Keep Learning

Bedford Castle lodge has a catch up each week on a Tuesday night. Short and sharp, they have become a regular weekly fixture, taking care of some lodge business and seeing how they are all adapting and coping in Covid-19 life. It has also become a good time to debate the worthiness of their fortnightly poker comp winner, discuss the disadvantages of home-schooling and one particular Brother’s very slow home renovation.
They have also recently started holding quick 15min lectures on various masonic topics. Last week’s lecture was centred around a returned veterans recount of Freemasonry in a WWII POW Camp. Each week a different Brother presents either their own lecture, or one provided, to the group. It’s a great way to learn more about freemasonry, practice presenting and keep the lodge engaged.
